Today I wanted to share a few of my favorite things. Yes thatโs a Sound of Music reference cause well, itโs nostalgic and just the bestย ๐ถ
This includes books that have helped with my productivity, forming and keeping habits, mindset and growth. Podcasts that I find so valuable as an entrepreneur and creative soul. And some just for fun reccos cause I just canโt help myself ๐
Letโs dive in!

Books
Atomic Habits - James Clearย
The ultimate habit book. I thought I had read everything under the sun about habits, then I read this book and it unlocked a whole new level. Also, James has a great newsletter and a bunch of free content you should make sure you sign up for.ย
Herding Tigers - Todd Henry
This is a great leadership book for those moving into a management role. He dives deep into that transition period and many of the chapters in this book are actionable and help you right away with that transition and being a stronger leader.ย
Free to Focus - Michael Hyatt
This book gives you a clear framework on how to decide where to spend your precious time. He talks about working in your desire zone and not overworking yourself as we all know, time does not flex but your energy does. Make the most of your hours!ย
The Artistโs Way - Julia Cameronย
This bookโs pivotal theory is incorporating long-form journaling into your mornings with something she calls โMorning Pages.โ You work through the chapters one week at a time and the journal prompts guide your pages. Itโs impossible to get through this book and not unlock something within yourself. Fun fact, this inspired two of my new businesses!

Pods
Pivot - Jenny Blake
Jenny is a famous ex google employee who has pivoted herself a few times. Her podcast covers all sort of work-related topics and her site has a TON of free content for all levels of employees and small businesses. Her book PIVOT is also wonderful if you are looking to make a move professionally.ย
The Productive Life - Megan Minns
Megan is a productivity coach. She encourages working in your genius zone, rest and delegation. She is full of quick tips and takeaways in each episode.ย
The Date to Grow Show - Sarah Morganย
Sarah gets right to the point. Her brief episodes are actionable and inspiring for content creators of all types. Sheโs also a social media pro and gets incredible engagement.
Creative Pep Talk - Andy J Pizza
This fun interview style show brings out the creativity in everyone. He brings insights and inspo for creatives looking for some direction or simply inspiration. He leads by example and is a bright spot in the podcast world.
The Artist at Work Pod ย {shameless plug}
Speaking of podcastsโฆ you must check out the show I co-host each Tuesday with one my best collaborators and friends, Emily. Itโs called The Artist at Work and we talk about being a creative person in the corporate space. But I like to think of it more like grabbing a cocktail with your work bestie. You can tune in wherever you get your podcasts!

Fun-sies
Must watch shows:
Queenโs Gambit and Schittโs Creek (in case you are still living under a rock)
Books:
Take Care of Your Type (a delightful read on Enneagrams) and The Night Swim (couldnโt put down this thriller!)ย
Music:
We are still on a Folklore and Evermore kick over here. Taylor can do no wrong in my eyesโฆ well, except the dancing and interrupting her songs with talking, but you get it.
I also keep returning to The Chicks Gaslighter album when some girl power.ย
Best at home workouts:
Sculpt Society and Obรฉ - Both easy to do in the comfort of your own home with or without weights โ and there's such a variety of exercise types to choose from.ย
Great insta follows:
New Yorker cartoons, Girls Night In Club, Home Sweet Hom and Colette.peri
Hope you had fun exploring some of my favorite things.
Itโs a link party up there so feel free to bookmark this and come back to it when you have some time.
Until next time friends!ย
