The Artist at work episode 25
Creatives, in general, have a knack for being outwarding individualistic.
We preach about our right brained-ness, our unique approach to whatevertheheck and really bask in needing space and our own special roller coaster to arrive at our best creative solution.
So sometimes, blanket advice that would work for the majority of a marketing department, isn’t going to sit well with your creative team. Oftentimes when people give advice, they are building off personal experiences. Perhaps this worked for them or they saw it work for someone else who was struggling with a similar issue.

Is it that creatives need a little more customization or is that we are the loudest voice when it comes to wanting individualism?
This week on The Artist at Work we are discussing advice – good, bad and ugly. Specifically the comments that have been scattered throughout conversations, performance reviews and the type of things that have really stuck.
