The Artist at work episode 27
80s babies where ya at?
Did you grow up learning lessons from the Berenstain Bears and Sesame Street? Things were so simple then. There were clear wrongs and rights and very little gray area.Â
As we get older, life becomes more complex. It’s harder to say someone should or should not do something. Related, the idea of strengths and weaknesses naturally come with positive or negative connotations. Being strong has historically been thought of as positive and vulnerable or emotional as negative. It’s time to flip the script and create our own way to talk about the things we value about ourselves.Â
FREEBIE ALERT
Use this worksheet to list 3 “strengths” and 3 “weaknesses” and then think through how each could be flipped on its head to be thought of as the opposite. Use the extra space to reflect on what you learn.Â
Of course, you can always subscribe on Apple Podcasts to get these delivered straight to your phone. Best way to ensure you don't miss out!Â
After you listen and give the worksheet a whirl, I'd love to keep the conversation going. Shoot me DM on insta.
