The University of Dayton in southern Ohio. Go Flyers! I studied Visual Communications Design and was a collegiate athlete. I still play tennis whenever I have a chance, though my knees - and backhand - aren’t what they used to be.

What’s your background? 

I worked in Chicago in the corporate world for nearly two decades. I’ve been a package designer, a start-up designer and wearer-of-all-hats, a brand designer and project manager hybrid, an associate creative director, creative director but most importantly, a leader.

I know the tools of the trade, the language of the business and how to succeed in those environments, especially as a creative, right-brained person. I started CheckPlus to help others navigate their career path and develop skills not taught at work.
